Parents should take them for regular medical check-ups to have their blood sugar level tested. The children and teenagers inclusive should be given proper meals at the correct time and must be restricted according to the plan. Guide the children to do a lot of exercise to maintain their blood level. This could be swimming, sport activities like playing football. This enhances the growth and development in children. They should also be given low fatty foods: avoid giving them fried foods such as fries but instead, introduce other healthy foods and fruits. The parents should explain to the children the importance of their diet.
